Registration for the 2011 fall season is now available via the links below. If your child has played with SYSA in a previous season, you will be able to retrieve and verify their registration information by selecting “Returning Player” on the first page. We are again working with Youth Leagues USA to bring you safe and secure online registration. A credit card is required for online registration, if you would prefer to pay by check, please check the announcements for Walk-In Registration information.
SYSA is please to keep pricing the same this year as outlined below.
| Program | Normal Registration | Late Registration (after 6/25/11) |
| U6 Coed | $30 | $40 |
| U8, U10, U12 | $55 | $65 |
In addition to keeping the prices the same for this year, and in addition to the normally provided uniform (shorts, jersey, socks), SYSA will provide a long-sleeve t-shirt to all registered players and coaches. The size of this shirt will match that of the jersey selected during registration.
You’ll also notice that our calendar leading up to the start of the season has changed dramatically (games and practices will operate as always).
- Walk-in registration will take place in late May and will be announced via our newsletter sent home with children from their school
- Newsletter will be sent home in early May
- Registration “late-fee” is now hard-set to one week prior to the close of registration (6/24/11)
- Registration is set to wait-list on 06/24/11
- Registration is closed on 07/01/11
There are several other changes that will be taking place this year in order to streamline team formations and schedules. The most important of these is that requests from parents and coaches for specific players will be honored at the discretion of the Board. In past years, coaches and parents asking for specific teams/rosters/friends have caused significant delays in team formation and equipment ordering. As a result, the ONLY guaranteed team placement is that of a coaches child. Per SOLD and EPYSA rules, the child of a coach MUST be placed on that coaches team.
One of the main purposes of recreational soccer is to provide children with a wide exposure to the sport, different coaching styles and players. In this spirit, and to facilitate a better experience for everyone, the above changes were approved by the Board to go into effect for the 2011 season.
Online Volunteer Registration (Coaches & Assistants)
SYSA is always in need of volunteers for many aspects of the club. Filling out the Risk Management form at the above link is the first step to helping us make the season a success for each and every child. Once you have filled out the above form, a member of the Board will contact you to discuss opportunities for you to help the club. Thank you in advance for your support.
