We had very little rain yesterday evening and overnight so the fields have had a chance to drain off and firm up enough that we can use them. Coaches, please use your best judgement when practicing and keep the kids away from any low or soggy spots.

In the interest of field preservation for opening weekend and more rain expected, all practices for tonight are cancelled. A mass email has been sent to all registered players and coaches.

I received word that at least one of you did not receive my email on Saturday. The regular season game schedules have been posted under coaches files. Please communicate your team schedule to your parents as soon as possible.
The monthly public board meeting will be held this coming Thursday at 8PM at the Swatara Township Administration Building. Due to the start of practice this meeting is being pushed back to accomodate scheduling.

Ref Training: Tuesday, July 31st, 5:30PM – Keller Fields (highly recommended for newer coaches to see first hand what our refs learn)

Most of you should have received an email with a link to your roster for the fall season. An exception to this is for U8 boys – we’re still ironing out a few coaching details that could affect the rosters. As soon as we have that done, they will go out as well. If you have not yet received your email with your username and password to your roster, please let me know (unless you signed up for U8 boys).

We had hoped to send out the rosters and other pertinent information to coaches in the middle of last week, however, due to several issues including lack of coaches and odd numbers of teams (causing too may bye weeks for players), we’re taking the extra time to shuffle things around and make sure that everyone gets a fair (and ample) amount of play time for the season and we have coaches for all our teams.
The boys teams are pretty much locked in and we’re hoping to have the girls teams finalized tonight. As soon as we can, rosters and other information will be sent to coaches (hopefully tomorrow).
The practice season starts Monday, August 6th (two weeks from today) with games start on Saturday, September 8th.
The coaches meeting is still being held this coming Thursday at 7:30 at the Swatara Township Admin Building.
Registration for all age groups is now closed.
